The Second Great Guild Meeting of 2012

There is nothing like going to your monthly guild meeting and have someone hand you some treasures like I received today.  To some folks this looks like just stuff but to a quilter/artist like myself these are treasures or masterpieces getting ready to happen.  Thank you Wilma and Flora.

Now about the row robin that we have going on right now.  These are the beginning of some very interesting works of art.  We won't see the end results until our meeting in October.  All of the members of this row robin will add a row each month. There is no telling what we will get.  I am excited.

Stay tuned for the results.

Show-N-Tell
We all look forward to the quilt guild meetings so that we can share our the projects that we worked on for the month.  Not all are quilts.  Not only are we talented we are all also very creative.  Take a look at this too-cute apron that Carole made out of one of her husband's shirts.

Now isn't this clever, she made the pocket out of one of the sleeves.

Carole will give us a lesson on making this apron at our next meeting.

Love all the beautiful quilts.  Quilting is so much fun. It gets very addictive.
These ladies are sewing labels on the cuddle quilts.  They also
help so on the bindings.  There is something for everyone to do.

Carole's name was pulled to get a quilt made by the guild members.

These are squares that were cut for Carole's quilt.

Everyone is busy.
